Engineer rolled up with a pile of boxes and having confirmed that the problem was with the upper scanner proceeded to swap the top section of the printer with a new one. Having identified that there is a fault on the scanner of the printer getting it repaired is being painful

Having worked through all the A4/3 sized magazines I realised that the last batch had a shadow line across the back pages of the scan caused by dirt on the scanner. I should have been checking the quality a little more often. It was not a major problem, but with my plans to dispose of the originals I knew it would annoy me latter, so that batch of 50 has been rescanned. Having been recalled to prison for a 'breach of licence conditions for which there was no evidence', I completed the whole of the prison sentence inside and was finally released back in May.
