BEYER PEACOCK 2-4-0 TANKS

15mm SCALE TO RUN ON 45mm GAUGE TRACK. MINIUMUM RADIUS 4ft 6in

Most of the 2-4-0 types can be made available, the early body with small tanks and the sloping smokebox front, or the later type as in "Mona" with the larger boiler and sidetanks.
The engine has two working outside cylinders with slide valves operated by Stephenson's valve gear. Reversible from cab. All external details are as lost wax brass castings and include:- fully detailed underframe with dummy springs and brake gear, scale wheels, cast buffer beams with correct couplings. dummy boiler fittings:- clack valves, injectors, turret and whistle, sand boxes and correct looking safety valve bonnet with working safety valve underneath. Boiler is of the centre flue type with firebox for meths firing. Backhead controls include:- pressure gauge, regulator, water gauge, blower valve, by-pass valve for axle pump and separate external water feed system.
Water carried in both side tanks and fed to the boiler via an axle pump.
Names available:- Mona, Fenella, Loch, Kissack, Peveril, Sutherland & G H wood. Other names can be produced to special order.
