QCC100Install
While it was originally intended that the cables kits would have the QCC100 module in line, problems with securing the cables to it, and providing power has resulted in a slight modification to the way the kits are put together.
Since we require +5v on the connectors that are powering glass scales, the connections inside the DRO350 have to be modified anyway, so while the unit is open, the QCC100 may as well be fitted inside. The power arrangements are then easier to manage. The kit comes with a 2 pin molex socket which is fitted in the spare pins of the J8 link set. The 1.5V link needs to be left in place if any of the other scales are using, and this arrangement allows boh to co-exist. A second QCC100 can be installed, using the two pin loop through connections J3 on the QCC100 board.
The back panel mini-din connector cable can then be plugged into the QCC100. The QCC moodule can then be secred in a convenient position on the back panel of the DRO.
Since the cable now has no active components, it can be lengthened as required and does not have any 'bulges' that need to be worried about.

Jenix pinout can be found here - http://www.dsjenix.com/pin_number.htm and while I have a link to the data for the Sino scales I've been asked not to publish it.
The colour coding of the cable will probably change as my supplier seems to use a number of sources, but at least it is easy to tell the different cables none so far have had the SAME set of colours.
