Scales
With the expanding range of interface kits, we are looking to provide a standard set of options for scales. All kits will be provided with a standard pin out on the Mini-DIN connector, and so scales can be moved from one project to another. Protecting your investment. To further assist, miniDIN extension leads are also available if required, but glass scales tend to come with a 3mt armored cable, so moving from a Digital Readout Bar setup to a Glass Scale will probably require a change of cables anyway.

Quadrature Glass Scales
We are currently setting up a number of options for glass scales.
One source is Machine-DRO who supply a range of Chinese manufactured scales and have a slim unit that is smaller than the Jenix.
We can supply these units as part of a kit package, at the same price as Allendale, but will include the QCC100 9WayD Cable Link Free of Charge

Digital Readout Bar Scale Cable with 4 pin Mini DIN Plug to Mini USB Plug(1.82mt) This cable allows the newer scale bars fitted with Mini-USB sockets to be connected to a normal mini-DIN socket on any of the DRO's. DRO350 will also require an internal BIN6 dongle to convert the signal. |
